On the planet Galbraxia there are two prevailing views regarding the end of life. The Tendant religion believe that in death, the soul of the individual carries onto the afterlife and thus great chambers are constructed and a lifetime’s worth of wealth is stored to ensure they can afford a cozy little cottage on the ethereal plane.
The beliefs of the Yenfoldi religion are somewhat more bohemian. Upon death, an individual is cremated with a single musical instrument of their choice. Their wealth and posessions are then distributed evenly amongst all in the community.
It should be stated at this point that while Yenfoldi followers tend to have a pretty good time in the afterlife, adherents of Tendantism spend most of their afterlife phoning in noise complaints.
I hope your afterlife is far away, Stu!
